Anything interesting from Siggraph?
Using mentalray for maya, I'm interested to learn of any proper plans out there from Autodesk using iray.
iray-integration-frameworks announces features as:
Light path expressions
Render buffer support
That gives us confidence to try it NOW in production, but will it ever be packaged for Maya??? Or even under the hood like mip_shaders??
Not to mention the new 3dsmax iray shader phenomena!
There are plenty of other options out there and if Autodesk has any road map to share with us then I'm hoping someone can share here.
