    Hi acheter,

    when using the Hypershade to connect "shading networks" which can be rendered with Iray for Maya you create MDL materials without diving in the code. You can also use the MDL core definitions and connect them in the HyperShade. This is kind of MDL programming using Mayas node based approach.

    So what exactly do you try to achieve?
