You can get the El Capitan upgrade through direct links from an Apple support page, just search for "apple el capitan upgrade".

Regarding timing, we estimate that the next update of the plugin will be released mid April. Also, we can extend your trial license if that is an issue. We are interested to get some coverage of NVIDIA GPU usage on the Mac.

    Best, Steffen

    Thank you Steffen,

I will keep my eye on that update as I am very curious about it's GPU features. Thank you also for El Capitan info. I was not aware you can get it there.

    How does that work?

I've download the latest version and it looks like my Titan X card is supported. Unfortunately my trial is about to expire. Is there any way to extend it now I'm able to test it properly?

Sure. I have sent you a private message via the forum. Normally, you can simply send your request to arc-licensing@nvidia.com.

Thank you. I've replied but no response yet. Should I give it a few days?

    Hi Steve,
I downloaded the Trial for C4D R18, but it seems that my graphic card is not supported or it's not being recognise. I have a NVIDIA GTX TITAN X in a MAC PRO 5,1 2010 2x2.4Ghz Quad core xeon.
the Iray preference panel says NO CUDA-CAPABLE DEVICES WERE FOUND.

I would love to buy this plugin if it works with my graphic card.
    Thanks

Did you upgrade your plugin to the latest version? The download on our website is providing an older version I think. If you install it and load it the first time, then the NVIDIA Pro App Center tool should tell you that there is an auto-update available. The most recent plugin version with the Mac improvements is 1.4.

The Iray plugin requires CUDA 8 to run with latest GPUs, you seem to have 7.5 installed.
