For El Capitan upgrade, you may want to try this https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206886.

(Sorry MPMP that I deleted your last post)

Has the Iray plugin been updated to work with Cinema 4D R19? My trial has expired so I'd like to buy the plugin now, but have just upgraded from R18 to R19.

You may simply copy the "plugins/iray" folder from R18 to R19. The R18 plugin should generally work in R19 since it does not depend on latest Cinema features.
We are looking into providing a native R19 build and installer of the plugin.

Default CUDA for Mac OS 10.13

Will there be a CUDA update for Mac OS 10.13? I'd like to buy iRay for C4D but can't use CUDA at the moment.

The next plugin updates will be based on CUDA 9, so they will be compatible with macOS High Sierra CUDA drivers from NVIDIA.

You can get the El Capitan upgrade through direct links from an Apple support page, just search for "apple el capitan upgrade".
