    Exclamation Can't extract for install from .exe

    I cannot install iray from the maya 2017 .exe install file It gives me the following error. What should I do in order to fisx this problem. I have even tried right click and installing as administrator, restarting, hard reset, delete and re-download incase it was corrupt. I'm not sure what to do. I am running the new creators update of windows 10. Up to date on all my plugins.

    I'd also suggest downloading the installer again. It's possible it may have downloaded corrupt.

    I have the same issue on 2 machines after purchasing this today. I made an account since the fix seems to only be available as a PM, could I get a PM of the fix? Thanks muchly!! Click image for larger version.

    I'm getting the same error, even after downloading again. A posted solution for this would be ideal.

    Is there somewhere I can download an older version of the installer?

    Hi clavigne and others.
    This is an issue with Win 10 and the Creators Update.
    This makes the overall Iray Installer fail.
    But good news is that you find the unpacked installer in C:/NVIDIA .
    If you start it from there it will succeed.

    We are coming with a IFM 1.5 and a fix soon.

    Is there any solution to this issue? I'm just now trying to install the 90 day trial and after downloading the zip -> extracting contents to C:/NVIDIA -> The resulting .exe upon trying to run makes something akin to an error sound... and then nothing. No messages, prompts or anything else. Just nothing.

    Am I alone on an island with this? I tried the Iray install for Maya 2016 and 2017. Same results.

    The trial version 1.4 - it doesn't give me any options to download different versions. Click image for larger version.
