Default Triangle on the Rendering with Hdri Enviroment

Hello I have a problem with mental ray, I have tried in 3ds max 2018 - 2017 - 2016 and the result it is identical.

With reflecting material, texture Hdri in the enviroment, and light Skylight, are visible in the rendering some triangles on some curved meshes.
I tried to increase the detail of the mesh and to increase the polygons, but the triangles move on the surface and they are always visible.

The same scene with illumination mr sun and mr sky and map sky in the enviroment doesn't have this problem.

The 3ds model is made in 3ds max 2017.

how can resolved this situation ? Becasue is not the first time that i see this triangle on the rendering.

    best regards.

I think I've seen that before. But I can't quite recall the source.
Is it possible there are two surfaces, one over another very close?

I make some test in this scene and other.
Because I need separate the background from environmet, I see the problem when i use the filter on hdri Texture.
If I disable the filter the problem is not present.
Of course if you don't separate the background and put directly the hdri in the enviroment slot the problem is not present, in this case you can also use the filter.

Ahh, that rings a bell. You could prefilter the map if you need the filtering look, right?

What is your reason for filtering? Softer looking light? Less time to converge noisy scenes lit by IBL?

    Hello Barton
no is only the default setting in 3ds max, when you upload a texture.
I did not remember the filter when I loaded the texture
I not need the filter in this case. I try to disable it and all is ok.
I find same triangle in the rendering with iray + after i try to disable the filter again in other scene.
    best regards.
