    Default SDK: This forum?

    Hi community & MDL developers,

first of all, thank you for all your hard work and for finally making the SDK publicly available! Looks like the MDL really got it all right and could solve the interoperability issues that exist with heterogeneous tool pipelines and PBR today.

This forum seems to be all about using the MDL itself and I don't see a single post about the SDK (yet?). Am I in the right place or is there another?

"MDL Forums" in https://developer.nvidia.com/mdl-sdk links here, but given the existing content I'm a little hesitant on spamming this place with implementation topics (and maybe others are too and that's why there are no posts)...

The MDL SDK has been made available to the larger audience only a few weeks ago, before that we usually communicated directly with the approved developers.
we will create a dedicated mdl-sdk forum on https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/b...and-rendering/, until then its certainly fine to ask questions here.

Browsing that place, I found a completely empty MDL forum here https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/board/253/mdl/ - and it appears like I could post there when I log into my developer account...

Does the new forum exist already, maybe?

Yes an MDL forum exists there and you can post. But it currently also not clearly separates between MDL as a language and the SDK API. we will clarify that.

Default See you on the other side

Given better chances for moving the post over to the final location or renaming the forum, I posted there (and saying so here, in case there are no notifications for that yet).
