Question Problems with Motion Blur in Iray 2.1

    Hello everyone,

I'm testing Iray 2.1 inside Cinema4D R19 for the last couple of days and experiencing problems when enabling motion blur. Attached are two images of the same frame of a simulation. One with the other without motion blur enabled:

    Iray-Test_01_with_MB.jpg

    Iray-Test_01_no_MB.jpg

What do I need to do, to get correct results?

    Best Regards,
    Chrizzo

Motionblur in Iray is supported for instance transformations but not shape deformations.
In case of fast movements within a frame you may need to raise the "samples" option in the motionblur render settings to get smooth results.
Hard to judge what the problem is just from that single frame.

Default Problems with Motion Blur in Iray 2 1

Yes lukei, that is what seems is happening.

But what to do if we need a strog motion blur?? As you can see, the value of 2 is not enough. Is there any workaround to solve this??

    Thank you
